Are you heading out of town for this festive season?  If you are planning to visit Ipoh, make a pit stop at Tanjung Tualang for some awesome seafood! Oh-so-FRESH! Tanjung Tualang has several restaurants that runs the same business.   Situated opposite the market, you can easily locate this restaurant.   SUN MEE FONG is an Air-Conditioned seafood restaurant with a very clean environment to dine for. We order 1.5kg prawns (M size) and requested to be cooked in two ways; Steamed & with Salted Eggs. #michiekitchen - HOW TO MAKE GOLD FISH "TONG YUEN" / GLUTINOUS RICE BALLS

Hey girlfriends! If you wanted to try making a cute version of "tong yuen" or Glutinous Rice Balls for this coming Winter Solstice Festival, you might want to surprise your family with this lil' gold fishes! THE INGREDIENTS: Glutinous Rice Flour  Water (Warm)  Charcoal Bamboo powder (for the eye balls) Rose Pink coloring  and..*Lots of patience* :) SYRUP: Old ginger  Red dates Dried longan Palm sugar Water (Bring all ingredients to boil) or  Pandan leaves  Old ginger  Sugar  Water (Bring all ingredients to boil) TO TO MAKE:  1. Sieve the glutinous flour into a large bowl to remove any lumps  2. Add in warm water slowly to make a soft dough. Using warm water will make the "tong yuen" more chewy / Q after cooking.  Please be extra careful and not to put too much water or the dough will be too soft and sticky. #DINEWITHME - HUO LU AI BBQ, SETIAWALK PUCHONG

What's better than having BBQ meat on a hot charcoal after a rainy evening?  #Korean restaurants has been mushrooming in #Setiawalk recently. This included San Nae Deul Korean BBQ, Mr. DakGalbi and Huo Lu Ai Korean BBQ which I'm going to introduce in this blog. It's been some time since my last visit to Setiawalk, and to my surprised Korean cuisines seemed to be the new favorite taking over the #BigSpoon waves.  Located next to the #TokyoKitchen, this BBQ restaurant consists of indoor and outdoor seating. Since I do not want to smell the same like my delicious slice of BBQ chicken, we took a seat outdoor facing the water landscape. I'm eating alone today since a friend of mine had his early dinner. I can't try more variety off the menu.
