#DINEWITHME: B-STORY CAFE | RATCHATHEWI (BANGKOK)

Sawadika 2017! Welcome to Bangkok.

Travelling around Bangkok is so much fun. What's more exciting is to hunt for cafes where the locals dine and chill! If flowers, plants and teddy bear are your thing, B-STORY CAFE is the place you gotta visit when you're in Bangkok.

Conveniently located, B-STORY CAFE is easy to spot. Take the stairs down from the Ratchathewi BTS station. The cafe is just right next to the station.

B-Story Cafe: Checked!

Offering Instagrammable moments, every corner of this cafe is stunning! Just like in a fairy tale; surrounded by green lush and pots of plants, I just wanted to chill here forever.

The menu offers both Western and Thai dishes. Since I had too much Tom Yum for the past few days in Bangkok, I tried on the Western food instead.

Mango Smoothie

Compared to the usual steak you've always dine off, this steak is rather different in its sauce. Not the ordinary brown or red wine sauce you're served with, this steak offered a local taste by having it dipped with Thai Spicy Sauce.

One dish that will never go wrong - Fettuccine Alfredo Truffle Oil. Be sure to order this if you like a creamy pasta. The cream sauce is not too heavy, just right to coat the fettuccine. Paired with crispy bacon bits and a drizzle of truffle oil. Oh so yummy!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:

I personally love the Salmon Hollandaise Sauce. The Salmon is incredibly fresh and juicy; Pan-Grilled to perfection with a crispy skin on top.

Be sure to check this cafe out on your next Bangkok trip. It's worth the visit. I love both the ambiance and food! Can't wait to be back again.

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displ...

Hands up if you are big fan of #Corn ! Today we are going to make Cornbread, the Korean style - Oksusu-Ppang Oksusu (옥수수)  = Corn  Ppang (빵)  = Bread What is Oksusu-Ppang (옥수수빵) actually?  It is the memory of people who went to school decades before The American government was supporting Koreans' nutrition by sending them tons and tons of cornmeal. Some got the idea to make cornbread out of it and distribute the bread through the school system. After Korean War the school provided this daily snack to the students just before last class was finished. Oksusu-Ppang has an intense corn flavor and it's fluffy like a sponge.
