#DINEWITHME - HUO LU AI BBQ, SETIAWALK PUCHONG

What's better than having BBQ meat on a hot charcoal after a rainy evening?

#Korean restaurants has been mushrooming in #Setiawalk recently. This included San Nae Deul Korean BBQ, Mr. DakGalbi and Huo Lu Ai Korean BBQ which I'm going to introduce in this blog. It's been some time since my last visit to Setiawalk, and to my surprised Korean cuisines seemed to be the new favorite taking over the #BigSpoon waves.

Located next to the #TokyoKitchen, this BBQ restaurant consists of indoor and outdoor seating. Since I do not want to smell the same like my delicious slice of BBQ chicken, we took a seat outdoor facing the water landscape. I'm eating alone today since a friend of mine had his early dinner. I can't try more variety off the menu. I've order a BBQ Chicken (Salt , B9) for my dinner.  It was quite a fast service as the waiter arrived to our table within 10 minutes to get my charcoal ready and meal served.

Chicken, Salt (RM 22)
(Served with side dishes / Banchan)

Korean rice served separately at RM4/bowl

Shikhye (RM 4.90)
Korean rice drink - sweet

I personally love this drink :)

Since it was my quick dinner, I did not snap a lot of photos. But, here's the menu for your reference.

"Try cooking yourself for a better taste" - BBQ by yourself, FREE Korean snack
I was trying to cook myself since it was nothing much to cook - just a slice of chicken meat. However, the staffs already standby to do it for me. So, no FREE snacks as per stated in menu :D

When we called for our bill, it seemed to be wrongly charged. The bill was printed RM 83++ for a BBQ Chicken, 1 rice & 2 drinks. After paying, we felt a little weird and checked on the bill again. They had charged the wrong Set (RM 69/set) to our bill; which I'm unsure what's charged under that price and the set price does not seemed to be in the menu as well. After going through the bill, they refunded the extra balance. Actual bill charged at RM 42.70

Chicken (Salt), Rice, Shikhye & Soju + Aloe Vera (RM 7.90)
(Price subjected to 10% Service Charges)

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displ...

#DINEWITHME: YUK SOU HIN | WEIL HOTEL (IPOH)

Done with my busy schedules, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about my dining experience at YUK SOU HIN @ WEIL HOTEL (IPOH) which took place about two months ago.  I was being invited by the hotel's PR Team at the first place to drop by and review the dim sum which was spearheaded by their   Hong Kong Master Chef, Mr. Chung Ho Shi but unfortunately I'm unable to attend. Later after that, I visited the restaurant with my mum when I dropped by in Ipoh the other day.  It was a busy morning. We went to the restaurant around 11am without any advance reservation, and it took us about 25 minutes to settle down with a table.  The restaurant was packed with customers that day, due to Public Holiday.  Not my first dining experience at Weil Hotel,  YUK SOU HIN  is the final restaurant to wrap up my adventure at this new hotel besides than  THE DECK  and  TIFFIN .  Bored while waiting, I started to explore around and tappin...
