#DINEWITHME: LE PONT BOULANGERIE et CAFE, OLD KLANG ROAD (KL)

Hey guys!

Welcome to my blog again. It has been some time that I blog about F&B outlet due to my busy schedules recently. This round, I am going to introduce you to a new hangout place which I think is cool and cozy enough to chill with that cuppa coffee and a freshly baked croissant.

Located at Old Klang Road (opposite ELKEN), LE PONT Boulangerie et Cafe started its business a month ago and this place pretty much impressed me with their modern and classy interior. If you have been to Tous Le Jours (Jalan Bukit Bintang), it is something similar in terms of concept but with a twist on its own. What does Le Pont actually mean in French? It means "The Bridge"

Le Pont is managed under Butbo Group Sdn Bhd, the same management of Xenri Japanese Restaurant (Malaysia & Hong Kong).

The environment is very inviting upon walking in, with friendly staffs welcoming you at the door. On the right, variety shelves of freshly baked breads and pastries are displayed. You could not resist clipping one, two or more onto the tray - so FRESH!. Here, you can see busy bakers at work from the huge open-concept kitchen producing trays and trays of fresh produce.

Bakery

Meantime, on the left is a huge casual area. If you are running out of time and needs a quick bite, here's the perfect area for you.

While Ground Floor of Le Pont serves as bakery, First and Second Floor operates as a cafe. The bakery closes earlier, at 10 pm daily.

What does Le Pont Cafe offers from the menu?

If you are an early bird, Le Pont serves breakfast from 8am to 11am daily. Price starting at RM 8.00 for a Easy Breakfast which included two sunny side up eggs, two pieces rustic toast, a mini croissant, braised cabbage and fresh garden salad. I would say, this is extremely cheap!

Other breakfast choices included Eggs A' La Florentine (RM11), Eggs Benedict (RM13), Eggs Royale (RM15) and Le Grand Breakfast (RM21).

Apart from breads, they also serve Main dishes like pastas, steaks, poultry and also delicious desserts.

I couldn't review much on the food this time, as I was here for a meeting with Le Pont management and the suppliers. I am only able to catch a casual dinner during the meeting.

Rose Latte

I personally love this Rose Latte. The mildly infused rose brings a pleasant refreshing taste to the latte.

Sea Prawn Linguine

RECOMMENDED: Waffle

French Toast
Tasted So-So only

First Floor - Cafe

The overall experience here is good, with nice food and fast service. The only problem, car parks are limited.

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displ...

#DINEWITHME: YUK SOU HIN | WEIL HOTEL (IPOH)

Done with my busy schedules, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about my dining experience at YUK SOU HIN @ WEIL HOTEL (IPOH) which took place about two months ago.  I was being invited by the hotel's PR Team at the first place to drop by and review the dim sum which was spearheaded by their   Hong Kong Master Chef, Mr. Chung Ho Shi but unfortunately I'm unable to attend. Later after that, I visited the restaurant with my mum when I dropped by in Ipoh the other day.  It was a busy morning. We went to the restaurant around 11am without any advance reservation, and it took us about 25 minutes to settle down with a table.  The restaurant was packed with customers that day, due to Public Holiday.  Not my first dining experience at Weil Hotel,  YUK SOU HIN  is the final restaurant to wrap up my adventure at this new hotel besides than  THE DECK  and  TIFFIN .  Bored while waiting, I started to explore around and tappin...
