#DINEWITHME: MISS COFFEE & TOAST, PFCC (PUCHONG)

"Puchong? VERY JAM LEH"
Don't be scared off by the heavy traffic!

Puchong has always been an area fairly famous for its food; with lots and lots of restaurants and cafes mushrooming throughout the year - each with a concept on its own. If you are a food/cafe hunter, you might want to add Puchong into your bucket list.

I've been hanging out in Puchong for years and nonetheless, I am pretty familiar with the newest "IN" here. Newly added to check-ins, Puchong Financial Corporate Centre (PFCC) is my new thing. There are two individual cafes available in this building - Walnut Cafe and MISS Coffee & Toast. Let's check out MISS Coffee & Toast and we'll look into Walnut Cafe later.

It was a lazy afternoon today. The sun is extremely hot that I could not afford to leave the air-cond room for a minute. Special thanks to #Wardrobe26 for the cool sunglasses. It protect my eyes and yet looking stylish. I love them to the bits!

MISS Coffee & Toast is located next to Hiro Zen Japanese Restaurant and alongside with Walnut Cafe. Don't worry, it is easy peasy to find. MISS Coffee & Toast is a PORK-FREE cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, serving All-Day Breakfast

The high ceiling and interior makes the cafe looks really bright and spacious with lots of natural lighting. Unfortunately, it makes the cafe somewhat warm.

Their simple menu offers pasta, salad, soup, mini toast, waffles, honey toast, smoothies, coffee & tea, ice creams and cakes.

Soft warm waffles accompanied by a scoop of Vanilla ice cream,
a dollop of Fresh Cream and fruits.

Ohh...did I mentioned that MISS Coffee & Toast actually allows pet? Dog owners can bring your pet when dining here* (Please call in advance to get permission). My two buddies brought these two lil' cutie pies for outing. Look at them! They are so lovely isn't it? :D

#DINEWITHME: BANH MI CAFE, PUCHONG

Hola #Saturday ! It's another blog on cafe review.  Let's go #Vietnamese this week. Hidden behind Columbia Asia Hospital in Bandar Puteri Puchong, this humble cafe serves cheap and delicious Vietnamese cuisines with very authentic flavors. Neither do I know this place actually exists although I've been staying around this area for the past few years. Thanks to my dear friend, Jess who brought me here. It was indeed a good place to dine for. BANH MI offers an Indoor and Outdoor seating. If you prefer eating out while chilling with that stick of ciggie, outdoor is your best choice. When we arrived, seats are still available. However, as the day pass, more and more customers are walking in and it's already full by 2.00 pm.  Indoor - Air conditioned What makes this cafe so special? The food, of course! Let's flip through the menu and see what we've got. Hungry already?  We left the ord...

Hands up if you are big fan of #Corn ! Today we are going to make Cornbread, the Korean style - Oksusu-Ppang Oksusu (옥수수)  = Corn  Ppang (빵)  = Bread What is Oksusu-Ppang (옥수수빵) actually?  It is the memory of people who went to school decades before The American government was supporting Koreans' nutrition by sending them tons and tons of cornmeal. Some got the idea to make cornbread out of it and distribute the bread through the school system. After Korean War the school provided this daily snack to the students just before last class was finished. Oksusu-Ppang has an intense corn flavor and it's fluffy like a sponge. Let's start making!  __ CONRBREAD / Oksusu-Ppang  (옥수수빵)  (serves 4 - 6) Ingredients: 2 cups / 280 grams Cornmeal 1 large Egg 1 ½ cup Milk  ½ teaspoon Salt  2 tablespoons White Sugar  1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil 2 teaspoons Baking Powder 1 tablespoon Butter (to grease baking pan) ...
