#CHILLWITHME: LEPAQ LEPAQ, JALAN CEYLON (KL)

Oh...is it rainy day? Nahh..it's the coffee, darling!

Sounds interesting?
Let your imagination run wild at LEPAQ LEPAQ! While the name sounds familiar to most Malaysian, this word holds a very special place and lifestyle, "Lepak" means "to hang out" in English. LEPAQ LEPAQ redefines the Lepak culture, and a decided to add a little twist to it by calling it, LEPAQ.

Located nearby Changkat Bukit Bintang where most of the nightlife taking scenes, LEPAQ LEPAQ is easily found and shown correctly via Waze. Fret not if you're not a Waze user, the location is quite easy. If you are from the golden triangle side, the easiest way to find the cafe is from Istana Hotel (on your left), rather than from the Changkat Bukit Bintang way. LEPAQ LEPAQ is a two-storey building painted in Tiffany blue.

The cafe's signage is a little hard to notice due to cars blockage in front of them by road. Parking space is also limited especially during peak hours or on weekends. So, just like what I did, you might end up parking along the roadside at your own risk.

While the cashier counter and bakery are located on the Ground Floor, First Floor occupied a spacious seating included an air-conditioned room for those who smoke. Ahh...did I mentioned that smoking area is set with a forested, green lush view of Bukit Ceylon? Sounds too good to be true, isn't it?

While waiting for Jess' arrival...

The menu at LEPAQ LEPAQ vary towards the weekend. A weekender menu is served from Friday to Sunday.

Cool vintage newspaper table mat!

Since we went on a Sunday afternoon around 3.30pm, we were only left with the choice of the biggest breakfast in town, Big Daddy and a smaller version, Big Mama. How big is #BIG? Wait till you see the below presentations...

If hot coffee or chocolate is your thing, opt for the Instagram-worthy "Rainy Day" version to try out. As dreamy as it can be, this drink will definitely cheer up that moody day for sure! Not only that, adding to the photo opportunity list is the paper box which used to serve all cold drinks here at LEPAQ LEPAQ

Menu for Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Big Daddy arrived to the table looking extremely huge! Priced at RM 55, Big Daddy is a whopping serving consisting of truffle scrambled egg with toasted baguette, three types of sausages (footlong chicken sausage, smoked chicken cheese sausage, and lamb cranberry sausage),two pieces of hash brown, and slices of turkey and chicken ham. Complemented with mixed salad, halved tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms and a warm bowl of baked beans and kidney beans on the side. This can feed at least three adults, depending on your appetite.

Highlight of 'em all. May I present to you, the social media's most-talk-about drinks, Rainy Day Chocolate. Since Jess doesn't drink coffee, she skipped coffee for chocolate. Couldn't deny the presentation looked definitely eye-catching and lovely, this drink lives up to its name with an after rain effect as time passes when the cotton candy melts. A lil' messy towards the end.

Ain't skipping the coffee, I had my cold Latte. Just like a mini parcel sent through delivery, it's fun to have them from the box.

Iced Latte (RM 12)

The overall dining was pleasant. A plus one for the cozy chill out ambiance. An absolute place you can "lepak" the whole afternoon over a conversation.

Okay...tapao-ed!

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displayed

#DINEWITHME: YUK SOU HIN | WEIL HOTEL (IPOH)

Done with my busy schedules, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about my dining experience at YUK SOU HIN @ WEIL HOTEL (IPOH) which took place about two months ago.  I was being invited by the hotel's PR Team at the first place to drop by and review the dim sum which was spearheaded by their   Hong Kong Master Chef, Mr. Chung Ho Shi but unfortunately I'm unable to attend. Later after that, I visited the restaurant with my mum when I dropped by in Ipoh the other day.  It was a busy morning. We went to the restaurant around 11am without any advance reservation, and it took us about 25 minutes to settle down with a table.  The restaurant was packed with customers that day, due to Public Holiday.  Not my first dining experience at Weil Hotel,  YUK SOU HIN  is the final restaurant to wrap up my adventure at this new hotel besides than  THE DECK  and  TIFFIN .  Bored while waiting, I started to explore around and tapping on my Iphone.  While wai
