#DINEWITHME - FRANCO, THE CURVE (MUTIARA DAMANSARA)

"What's for dinner tonight?".

The multi-million dollar question arises again. Looking at each other, we then laughed.

Walking round and about to figured out which restaurant to dive in, my brother and I came across FRANCO - A French Japanese Artisan Cafe; crafted with Japanese precision and embodying French perfection. The cafe is hipster and cozy just perfect for that quick lunch or lazy weekend dinner.

We both settled down at a table on the outdoor area, noticing there are also an indoor dining area with air-conditioned. The waitress was rather quick to notice and approached us even before we raise up our hand and call for their service. The menu here is pretty much simple and the real highlights here are the desserts. If you're a sweet-tooth nor dessert maniac, here's the right place to be!

Since it's a rainy day, a pot of hot Chamomile tea is just perfect for the evening. I was quite impressed being served with chamomile flower buds instead of infused tea bag. Most often than not, cafes only serve a pot/glass of hot water with tea bag and it was rather rare for a commercial cafe to serve this way nowadays. I give them a "Like" for this!

Pretty excited to try out their french toast, we ordered a portion. Franco French Toast is so damn good. I would say, it's the best french toast I've tasted in KL so far. Stacks of super tender eggy bread chunks, dusted with icing sugar and served with maple syrup and a huge dollop of whipped cream; so rich and creamy! Ahh...It was just too good to be true! The french toast wasn't too sweet and the combination is just perfect. Good for sharing (Consists of 10 chunks).

An absolute must-have! Don't ask, just order!

Since my brother wanted a pasta dish, we tried out the Carbonara. I heart this pasta, as it's not over creamy and the bacon slices compliment the whole dish with a touch of eye candy - an egg yolk in the middle. "Poke the yolk with the fork!". That's the first thing that ran into my mind.

I really wanted to try out the Squid Ink Rice, but just because I do not want to end up having black teeth, I gave up. Instead, I replaced my order with Souffle Au Franco. It takes a minimum time of 20 minutes for the dish to be served on your table. To my advice, if you are extremely hungry and lost your patience on waiting, do not attempt to order this dish.

The dish is so rich on it's topping, flowing with egg and cheese goodness. Hidden beneath the souffle are mushrooms, tomato rice and etc. One huge portion that is good enough to makes your stomach explodes.

Clouds of fluffy egg and cheese hide the delicious, home-style tomato
sauteed rice that's right underneath

The overall dining experience here is good and I will definitely come back again. Apart from the food and drinks are satisfying, their services are excellent too.

My aim for next visit - Chocolate Souffles

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displayed

#DINEWITHME: YUK SOU HIN | WEIL HOTEL (IPOH)

Done with my busy schedules, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about my dining experience at YUK SOU HIN @ WEIL HOTEL (IPOH) which took place about two months ago.  I was being invited by the hotel's PR Team at the first place to drop by and review the dim sum which was spearheaded by their   Hong Kong Master Chef, Mr. Chung Ho Shi but unfortunately I'm unable to attend. Later after that, I visited the restaurant with my mum when I dropped by in Ipoh the other day.  It was a busy morning. We went to the restaurant around 11am without any advance reservation, and it took us about 25 minutes to settle down with a table.  The restaurant was packed with customers that day, due to Public Holiday.  Not my first dining experience at Weil Hotel,  YUK SOU HIN  is the final restaurant to wrap up my adventure at this new hotel besides than  THE DECK  and  TIFFIN .  Bored while waiting, I started to explore around and tapping on my Iphone.  While wai
