#CHILLWITHME: MEZZA9, PUBLIKA (KL)

If one of your party's requirements is to get your guests "hydrated" with wine and more wines, I am pretty sure this is the place that you'll consider when choosing the venue. Listed by Malaysian Tatler Dining for their wine buffet as one of the Top 5 buffets to try in Kuala Lumpur - Welcome to MEZZA9, Publika!

I personally hangout a lot at Publika and I started to find this place interesting after a couple times clocking myself in now and then. Pretty amazed by the crowd even if it's on a weekday, MEZZA9 Publika is usually full house everyday of the week.

Located at one of the al fresco premises, MEZZA9 Publika is right next to SUBWAY which also share the same row as FRANCO. To my advice, if you plan to go all out for the night do get an UBER ride. I am sure you'll get wasted in no time! Or perhaps, jockey parking is a wise choice - RM 15 for 3 hours. (The fastest way to escape from your crazy drinking friends...hahahaha!)

Wine buffet @ RM 60 (No Service Charge)
Featuring 7* different Red Wines & 7* different White Wines
from 5 different countries.

Free flow wines from 5pm to 1 - 2am (7 days a week).

If you haven't been here before, keep an eye for the hot and stunning models! MEZZA9 Publika airs Victoria Secret's Fashion Show throughout the night.

If you like oysters, MEZZA9 Publika serves fresh air flown Irish premium oysters at RM10 per piece

If you've never had oysters before, what types of oysters to start with - East Coast or West Coast Oysters? It can be hard to determine what might be good fit for you.

East Coast oysters tend to be salty and chewy, while West Coast oysters are more creamy and sweet. If slurping a raw oyster scares you, West Coast oysters might be a better choice to start with. They are usually smaller and richer than the East Coast's.

I would recommend the following when eating your oysters: Tip the oyster shell into your mouth and suck out the fresh oyster. Then, chew on the meat and taste the flavor (Don't simply swallow). Now swallow and then take a sip of wine. The brightness of the wine will cleanse your palate and prepare you to try another oyster. But of course, you are welcome to eat your oysters and drink your wine however you'd like to.

East Coast oysters go well with light-bodies wines with a bit of acidity such as ProseccoVinho Verde and Riesling. West Coast oysters goes well with slightly heavier white wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé or unoaked Chardonnay. I don't recommend Red Wines unless they are particularly fruity and light bodied.

RECOMMENDED: Cheese Nachos

Mezza9 Publika use high quality Mozzarella Cheese and LOTS OF IT!
These nachos are AWESOME...

Besides than munching on that cheesy nachos, a wine session would not complete without cheese. Wine and cheese are a classic combo, of two life's great culinary pleasures. You can't miss this!

Cheese Platter

As the night gets darker, so is the music. The overall experience here was fabulous. Till my next check-in, I'll see you around if we have the chance to meet here one day!

#DINEWITHME: THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR | SS15, SUBANG JAYA (KL)

Whooppsss...I just had my dinner!  What am I doing here? Come on, it's Friday! Let's chill a 'lil - Dinner extended. To be frank, I don't have much time to spend around ever since I've joined an award-winning agency few months ago. Life's pretty hectic everyday, with extreme workload and countless days of overtime.  And just because I have relocated myself to another area, my hangout place changes too. What makes the best option would be the one nearest to my office, with less traffic congestion.  Thanks to my bunch of friends whom always put me on a priority, they make the effort to come to a meeting point near me instead.  I was brought to this restaurant the other day by my friends and I found it quite a waste not to share such an interesting place with all of you.  Let me introduce you to -  THE PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT & WINE BAR. Upon walking in, I was amazed by their simple yet welcoming ambiance. I was ushered in by rows of wine displayed

#DINEWITHME: YUK SOU HIN | WEIL HOTEL (IPOH)

Done with my busy schedules, I finally have the time to sit down and blog about my dining experience at YUK SOU HIN @ WEIL HOTEL (IPOH) which took place about two months ago.  I was being invited by the hotel's PR Team at the first place to drop by and review the dim sum which was spearheaded by their   Hong Kong Master Chef, Mr. Chung Ho Shi but unfortunately I'm unable to attend. Later after that, I visited the restaurant with my mum when I dropped by in Ipoh the other day.  It was a busy morning. We went to the restaurant around 11am without any advance reservation, and it took us about 25 minutes to settle down with a table.  The restaurant was packed with customers that day, due to Public Holiday.  Not my first dining experience at Weil Hotel,  YUK SOU HIN  is the final restaurant to wrap up my adventure at this new hotel besides than  THE DECK  and  TIFFIN .  Bored while waiting, I started to explore around and tapping on my Iphone.  While wai
