#CHILLWITHME - OPIUM, CHANGKAT BUKIT BINTANG (KL)

EAT * DRINK * MAN * WOMAN

That's the tagline representing #Opium, KL. This hidden gem is located at the corner of Changkat Bukit Bintang (Movida is just across the street), with drinks on the menu that will amaze you!

I was there on New Year's eve to catch a quick drink after my dinner at #Dining In The Dark, KL and this place automatically made it to my bucket list as their drinks attracted my attention and curiosity.

It has been my every weekend kinda routine to walk into a bar and check out their drinks while chilling. I've been to "almost" all of the bars along Changkat Bukit Bintang (due to my frequent visits). I highly recommend this place to my fellow readers if you're a person who loved to chill; just like me - none of the bar can beat their drinks presentation so far!

My itchy hand on the paper art =D

Since we were here to grab a quick drink, I'm unable to try anything on the food. But here's two drinks we've ordered to quench our thirst.

Five Fragrance #Mojito (RM 33++)

Black Dragon (RM 38++)

Check out the smoke! :D

Although two drinks cost a whooping RM 82++, but it's definitely a unique place to dine -serves awesome #cocktails and lovely environment.

#DINEWITHME: BANH MI CAFE, PUCHONG

Hola #Saturday ! It's another blog on cafe review.  Let's go #Vietnamese this week. Hidden behind Columbia Asia Hospital in Bandar Puteri Puchong, this humble cafe serves cheap and delicious Vietnamese cuisines with very authentic flavors. Neither do I know this place actually exists although I've been staying around this area for the past few years. Thanks to my dear friend, Jess who brought me here. It was indeed a good place to dine for. BANH MI offers an Indoor and Outdoor seating. If you prefer eating out while chilling with that stick of ciggie, outdoor is your best choice. When we arrived, seats are still available. However, as the day pass, more and more customers are walking in and it's already full by 2.00 pm.  Indoor - Air conditioned What makes this cafe so special? The food, of course! Let's flip through the menu and see what we've got. Hungry already?  We left the ord...

Hands up if you are big fan of #Corn ! Today we are going to make Cornbread, the Korean style - Oksusu-Ppang Oksusu (옥수수)  = Corn  Ppang (빵)  = Bread What is Oksusu-Ppang (옥수수빵) actually?  It is the memory of people who went to school decades before The American government was supporting Koreans' nutrition by sending them tons and tons of cornmeal. Some got the idea to make cornbread out of it and distribute the bread through the school system. After Korean War the school provided this daily snack to the students just before last class was finished. Oksusu-Ppang has an intense corn flavor and it's fluffy like a sponge.
