Another celebration took place in conjunction of Jess' birthday this year. As usual, we rotated the celebration among the three of us with high tea session. This round, the celebration was held at BISTRO 160, Grand Millennium Hotel KL .

Traditional English Afternoon Tea & Chocolate Afternoon Tea Set
Traditional English Afternoon Tea and Chocolate Afternoon Tea is served with your choice of Freshly Brewed Illy Coffee, English Breakfast Tea or GMKL Ice Tea; priced at RM 55++ per set. Since there are three of us, we ordered both sets to try out.
It was nice enough for the staff to provide us an additional cup to share the tea instead of placing an extra order; which supposed each set comes with a pot of tea. Unfortunately, only English Breakfast tea is available. Unlike others, you can choose the type of tea you preferred from the tea lists.

These chocolate scones are delicious!
However, the clotted cream is so-so. Not thick and creamy enough.
The one at Ritz Carlton is still the best.

It's a wrap!
The ambiance is fine but unfortunately there were too many flies! One actually landed in one of our tea while another two flies flew around the entire tea session. It's really annoying. The sandwiches are all dried out and tasted awful. Service is not really efficient as we need to walk over to the counter to get our bill or request for tea refills. To compare, Chocolate Afternoon Tea set is better than Traditional English Afternoon Tea.
